In 1999 I put together a brochure that I sent out to exactly 100 businesses hoping to get ONE new customer! (This was way before internet, google, social media, etc.)
Front Cover: A photo of myself in 1998 holding an industrial broom wearing one of the first handmade RJS Sweatshirts.
Inside brochure: Very plain but very precise and informative. I believe I created this brochure using the original Corel Draw and stored the file on a floppy disk drive all in black and white.
Inner Panel: Each word here is true and my Mom, my Dad, My friend Renee, My girlfriend at the time: Charity and my best friend Paul all worked very hard to get this business up and running. I contribute my success to all My friends and family who were supportive and instrumental in the beginning phases of the business.
Exterior Panel: This is kinda funny. I used to ride around in a Silver PT Cruiser with the business name and phone number on the back and even had the special NYS License plate reading: CALL RJS.
